We are a growing construction company looking for a dedicated HR Assistant / Recruiter to join us for a long-term working relationship.

This role is focused on helping us recruit full-time employees, subcontractors, and freelancers as our company continues to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys recruiting, follows up consistently, and takes ownership of the hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and follow up on job postings across Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn
  • Review applications and identify qualified candidates
  • Call candidates and conduct initial screening interviews
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate the full hiring process
  • Conduct first-round interviews and basic screening tests
  • Arrange and schedule final interviews directly with company management
  • Track candidates, interviews, and hiring progress in an organized way
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all candidates

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR or recruiting
  • Experience hiring for construction or skilled trades is a plus
  • Strong phone and communication skills
  • Comfortable calling and interviewing candidates
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-ups
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English
