Job Description
We are a growing construction company looking for a dedicated HR Assistant / Recruiter to join us for a long-term working relationship.
This role is focused on helping us recruit full-time employees, subcontractors, and freelancers as our company continues to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys recruiting, follows up consistently, and takes ownership of the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and follow up on job postings across Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn
- Review applications and identify qualified candidates
- Call candidates and conduct initial screening interviews
- Schedule interviews and coordinate the full hiring process
- Conduct first-round interviews and basic screening tests
- Arrange and schedule final interviews directly with company management
- Track candidates, interviews, and hiring progress in an organized way
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all candidates
Requirements:
- Previous experience in HR or recruiting
- Experience hiring for construction or skilled trades is a plus
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Comfortable calling and interviewing candidates
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-ups
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English
